You can also leave an impression on a business meetings and make people think that you are a geniuos, and they will have more trust in you when they see how you are using your computer (i’m not saying taht you are not a genius).
Here are the most common i use in my everyday work:

Cmd + Backspace = Delete selected file/folder
Cmd + Shift + Backspace = Empty the trash
(Finder should have focus for this shortcut to work)
Cmd + Shift+ 3 = Print screen
Cmd + Shift + 4 = Print screen selected area

Fn + Backspace = Delete
Cmd + Arrow (left/right) = move to start/end of line
Cmd + Shift + Arrow (left/right) = select all to start/end of line
Alt + Arrow (left/right) = Move cursor left/right by one word
Alt + Shift + Arrow (left/right) = Move cursor left/right by one word
Cmd + Arrow down = Default action for selected file
(eg. Folder = Open folder, Image = Open image with defult viewer…)
Cmd + Arrow up = Up one folder
Space = Scroll page down
Shift + Space = Scroll page up

Firefox:
Alt+L = Address bar focus
Alt+K = Search bar focus
Shift + Cmd + Backspace = Clear private data
(Firefox should have focus for this shortcut to work)
Cmd + 1 = first tab, Cmd + 2 = second tab …

Connecting to Exchange from Mac has been a trouble. Because my company usese exchange server best solution i’v found is to use Entourage. Now even this wasn’t easy becuase there was one (like there always is :P) thing i didn’t found in manual (yes, rtfm!). Very important thing is to add your email address in path to exchange server.

Here are parametaras i used to setup account to work:

Step 1

Entourage > Account settings.. > New Account

Step 2

Chose ‘Exchange’
(This opens a window with account settings)

Step 3

Tab: Account settings
Account name: My Account Name
Name: My Name
E-mail address: myaccountid@mydomain.net

Account ID: myaccountid
Domain: mydomain.net
Password: mypassword

Exchange server: https://webmail.mydomain.net/exchange/myname@mydomain.net
SSL: Yes

Tab: Advanced

Public folder server: https://webmail.mydomain.net/exchange/
SSL: Yes

Step 4

Send/Recieve, it should work

Note

If you are connecting from outside local network, then you will be unable to connect to address book. You must be connected on local netowrk or over VPN.
If you are connecting over Internet you can use GAL search software to find addresses.
Software that i use for this is OWA GAL Search.

Slična stvar je i kod nekih posebnih znakova koji se često koriste, npr: @ (at) ili | (pipe). Za to postoji super stvar, a zove se Keyboard viewer . Ovo je vrlo korisna stvar posebno za mac ‘početnike’. Posebni znakovi se nalaze iza kombinacija tipki Alt, Shift, Ctrl i cmd i sa keyboard viewerom, vrlo brzo vidite gdje je što ‘skriveno’.

Postavite ju u menu bar, tako da je uvijek lako dostupna. Nalazi se u System preferences » International » Input menu
Potrebno je kliknuti checkbox: ‘Show input menu in menubar’ i nakon toga ju je moguće odabrati iz izbornika kao na slici (gore). Ukoliko na macbook prikopčate vanjsku tipkovnicu Keyboard viewer će ju prepoznat i proširit na punu tipkovnicu.

Evo i nekoliko često korištenih simbola:

• Alt + Shift + 2
• @ (at)
• Alt + ž
• (backslash)
• Alt + Shift + ž

Druga stvar koja je mene mučila prilikom prelaska na mac je prebacivanje između prozora. Kombinacija tipki ‘Command-Tab’ služi za prebacivanje između aplikacija, ali kada su npr. otvorena dva Firefox prozora, između njih se nije moguće prebacivati tim shortcutom. Prema Apple supportu, za prebacivanje prozora iste aplikacije shortut je Command-`. Kad se keyboard postavi na Hrvatski, ovo je prilčno nezgodno, pa je najbolje rješenje kreirati svoj shortcut:

2. Keyboard & Mouse
3. Keyboard Shortcuts
4. Move focus to next window in active application (dvoklik na shortcut)
5. Odaberite kombinaciju tipki koja vam najviše odgovara
   Prijedlog: Command – “ (Nalazi se iznad tipke ‘tab’)

Alternativa shortcutu na tipkovnici je expose – tipka ‘F3′. Prisitkom F3, prikazuju se svi otvoreni prozori na desktopu i klikom odaberete prozor, pa šta je kome lakše.
